The RIP that ships with the factory DTF and DTG machines — Epson F2000 to F3070, Ricoh Ri, M&R — licensed per printer model through resellers, Windows only, on a USB dongle. Its automatic white underbase is the engine the rest of the market copied, and the DTF edition is $849.95. The one converted desktop Epson it lists a print driver for is the XP-15000. まとめ
On white ink, Kothari is the strongest engine on this page: the underbase generation is patented, it reads the media colour and the file's transparency, and it has been doing it since 2006 — on machines that cost ten times a converted Epson. What it is not is a tool for the printer you converted in your spare room. It is licensed per printer model and sold through distributors rather than downloaded, it needs Windows and a free USB port for the dongle, and the only converted desktop Epson with a Kothari print driver is the XP-15000. If you run an F2100 or an i3200 roll printer at volume, Kothari is the right class of tool — weigh it against Caldera, not against us. If you converted an L1800, an L805, an R1390 or an ET-8550, there is no Kothari driver to compare, and those are exactly the models ZoroPrint drives: free on one computer, or $72/year on Solo, on macOS, Windows and Linux. If you did convert an XP-15000, both tools cover it — Kothari at $849.95 on Windows with a dongle, ZoroPrint free on one computer on all three systems.
