As a production RIP, Caldera does more than ZoroPrint: a real colour engine, profile creation on the top plan, an Adobe PDF engine and a hotfolder. What it is not built for is your machine — it is licensed per DTF printer driver and sold with factory DTF printers, while ZoroPrint drives the converted Epson desktop you already own, free on one computer or $72/year on Solo, against €395/year for their entry plan. If you run a roll DTF printer at volume, Caldera is the right class of tool. If you converted a desktop Epson, check first whether your model has a Caldera driver — if it does not, there is nothing to compare.
